Applied Economics for Sustainable and Inclusive Blue Economy Development Framework in Indonesia

Yayasan Strategi Konservasi Indonesia (CSF Indonesia) in collaboration with the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) IPB University is pleased to announce our 4th Marine Fellowship Program (2023-2024). The fellowship program covers research funds, economic training, and research mentorship. We invite graduate students, researchers, academics, analysts, and practitioners to submit project proposals in applied economic research for a sustainable and inclusive blue economy development framework in Indonesia. Ten fellows will be selected from the pool of applicants, and the tenure ship is only for 10 months.

Executive Summary of CSF Indonesia Alumni Survey Results

Bringing economic tools to the mainstream in Indonesia

In 2021, CSF Indonesia conducted a survey to receive feedback and constructive input from the alumni of CSF Indonesia that have participated in the training, workshops, and fellowship programs from 2015 up to 2021. The results of this survey play an important role in mapping the key areas for improvements to the program in the future.

Rangkaian ini ditujukan kepada individu-individu yang ingin mempelajari - atau mengulas - dasar ekonomi dari konservasi. Video ini mencakup nilai maksimum ekonomi (MSY) dalam penangkapan ikan dan kuota penangkapan ikan. Kita akan membandingkan tingkat pertumbuhan dan populasi ikan dan melihat dimana dalam kurva pertumbuhan mana populasi mencapai keberlanjutan. Kita juga akan mengenalkan konsep-konsep upaya penangkapan ikan, rente ekonomi, dan nilai maksimum keberlanjutan.
