Our Story

About CSF's capacity development program

Since 1998, CSF has been empowering environmentalists with the skills to use economics to build nature into decision-making through in person and virtual courses, workshops, and fellowship programs. Building from nearly 25 years of unique and effective capacity development in economics and finance at Conservation Strategy Fund, we launched the Numbers for Nature Training Institute (N4N) in 2022 to help bring CSF's global training program to more people in more places. Now in 2026, we have expanded our Institute to span four platforms in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Bahasa.
